Our family grows by ONE...

Sunday afternoon, Julia's brother and sister-in-law stopped over for a quick visit. On their way out, they informed us that they were actually on their way to pick up a dog that she found on Craigslist. Our response...jealousy! So, that night, I went online. Found a cute puggle that someone was giving away because she was no longer able to care for her. Monday night I texted the lady and the puppy was still available! Now what do we do?!?!? Well, we thought about it and called her on Wednesday morning to make an appointment just to go see her. About 2 hours later we arrived in Kent City. Do I need say more? Both of us instantly fell in live with her!

 Miss Bailey arrived home with us that day full of energy. She explored the house from top to bottom and quickly made herself at home. In other words, she jumped on the furniture, jumped on us, tried to get in out bed, and wanted to eat people food.

 Day 2 is complete. Bailey is learning to eat dog food (absolutely NO people food), she already knows our room is out of bounds, shes quickly realizing the couches are not for her, and well...she still jumps on us.

Biggest CHALLENGE...listening to her cry for 20 minutes before she falls asleep at night.

Biggest REWARD...the love. She is so cuddly, gentle, and just plain fun to be around!

Happily Married!

Wedding...done! Just like that, it was all over. It was a rough start that involved Julia getting a horrible stomach bug; however, we pulled through. Pictures will be posted ASAP!
Honeymoon in Jamaica was fabulous!!! We arrived Sunday afternoon at our resort and were greeted with cool towels and a nice mixed drink:) What a hard life?!!? Then we got situated in our room...which was air conditioned (thankfully!) and had a fully stocked fridge. Monday we relaxed. Went swimming, had a drink or two (or ten!), walked the beach, and ate non-stop! Tuesday was Adventure #1...taking a catamaran to a famous waterfall that we hiked. Stopped along the way and put on some flippers and goggles on in order to say a quick hello to Nemo :) Definitely a wonderful excursion and highly recommended. On Friday we took a trip to go zip lining along with tubing down sone rapids. Again-a great day!
Unfortunately, not many pictures to show since we forgot our camera at home :( we definitely hope to make it back there. I think we will visit Jamaica rather than be one to go to Mexico. In other words, we both highly recommend it!
